Aplix 840 is a self-gripping closure system with flame retardant hooks and loops.
This closure system is made of 100% polyphenylene sulphide (PPS). It is distinguished by its resistance to high temperatures and fire. In fact, it can withstand temperatures of up to 190°C and only melts at 285°C.
It is 3.2mm thick and light brown in colour. Four different widths are available as standard: 12,5, 20, 25, and 50mm. Sold in rolled form, custom shapes can also be created to conform to your specifications.
Several attachment methods can be used for this product such as gluing, sewing, riveting, or stapling.
