Aeroshell Greases – Reliable Protection for Aviation Components
The Aeroshell Grease product range covers the majority of lubrication needs.
- Aeroshell Grease 5 is only sold in the United States. Aviatec Global Aviation handles the importation of these products for you. Aeroshell 5 grease combines high bearing capacity with excellent resistance to water and temperature variations from -23°C to +177°C. It is recommended for use in bearings and engine accessories.
- Aeroshell Grease 6 is predominantly used in the anti-friction and slide bearings of general aviation aircraft. An inhibitor against corrosion and oxidation, it has exceptional torque properties from -40°C to +121°C and water resistance.
- Aeroshell Grease 7 is an advanced multi-purpose grease. Its operating temperature range is from -73°C to +149°C. It is recommended for use in gears and mechanisms as well as for general instrument lubrication.
- Aeroshell Grease 14 is enhanced with special additives. It offers exceptional protection against friction and moisture corrosion. In general, it is widely used on helicopters. Its operating temperature range is from -54°C to +93°C.
- Aeroshell Grease 22 is notable for its anti-wear properties and its extended useful temperature range from -65°C to +204°C. Its use is particularly recommended for aircraft wheel bearings, anti-friction bearings, engine accessories, and airframe lubrication.
- Aeroshell Grease 33 is a universal lubricant developed to meet all airframe lubrication requirements. Its increased corrosion resistance and load-bearing capacity ensure less wear and tear. It therefore enables longer re-greasing intervals, thereby significantly reducing maintenance costs. The useful temperature range is from -73°C to +121°C.
- Aeroshell Grease 64 (formerly Aeroshell 33MS) is an EP airframe grease based on the proven lithium thickener technology of Aeroshell Grease 33. Fully compatible, these two lubricants protect more than 98% of the application points on a standard airliner.
